Quesnel RCMP are investigation a collision that resulted in the death of a motorcycle rider.
On April 25, 2026, at approximately 4:38 p.m., the Quesnel RCMP were dispatched to a serious collision on Highway 97 at Cedar Avenue in Quesnel where an SUV collided with a motorcycle at the intersection.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old man from Quesnel, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man later died in hospital as a result of the injuries. The driver of the SUV was uninjured.
“The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the events leading up to the fatal collision that has not already spoken with police, is asked to contact the Quesnel RCMP,” says Sgt. Clay Kronebusch.
