Police are appealing for witnesses and video following a fatal collision involving a pedestrian that occurred the morning of December 31 in Richmond.
On December 31, 2025, at approximately 6:53 a.m., Richmond RCMP officers responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Williams Road and Seacote Road. The incident involved a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle. Officers secured the scene while Emergency Health Services and Richmond Fire-Rescue provided medical assistance to the pedestrian.
Unfortunately, the individual succumbed to their injuries. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. The Richmond RCMP Serious Crime Unit has assumed conduct of the investigation.
