On February 13, 2026 at 0038 hours, police received a call that a barge had crashed into the Arthur Laing Bridge. All north and southbound traffic onto the bridge has been blocked until the bridge can be structurally examined. It is unknown when the bridge will be reopened. Motorists should make alternative travel arrangements.
