Ridge Meadows RCMP - Message from the Officer in Charge

I am honored to serve as the Officer in Charge of Ridge Meadows RCMP, having spent the majority of my career working and living in this area.

We have heard from residents, businesses, and community partners and are prioritizing increased police visibility and concentrating on road safety. We also continue to work in partnership to assist our youth, seniors, and those facing mental health and addiction challenges. For example, we introduced the Ridge Family and Youth Resource Team (FYRST) to provide essential support to local youth and help strengthen connections to their schools, families, and local resources. Programs like these help us build a safer, more resilient community together.

While I may be the Officer in Charge, I know that true community safety is a shared effort. I am incredibly proud and grateful to work alongside our dedicated police officers, staff members, and volunteers who remain committed to serving our communities. I also want to recognize their families whose support allows us to serve to the best of our abilities.

Finally, I would like to thank and acknowledge the City of Maple Ridge, City of Pitt Meadows, and the Katzie First Nation for their continued partnership and support as we look ahead to the future policing needs and priorities of these communities.
