Ridge Meadows RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two alleged suspects in an assault and attempted robbery, and is reminding the public about online selling safety in the wake of the incident and amid the holiday shopping season.
On October 10, 2025, at approximately 8:15pm, Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to a report of an attempted robbery in the 12400 block of Harris Road, Pitt Meadows. Officers learned that the victim was contacted online regarding a phone he had for sale. When the alleged buyer, and another companion, met up with the victim in the lobby of his building they attempted to steal the phone from the victim. During the altercation, one of the alleged suspects pepper-sprayed the victim before both suspects fled the scene without the phone.
Ridge Meadows RCMP is now releasing photos and surveillance video captured from the incident in the hopes of identifying the two suspects.
