Harbourfront Dr NW: At 7:50am a complainant reported a male yelling and screaming at a nearby residence. While police were en route the complainant reported the man was banging on their front door and screaming at the complainant. Police arrived and arrested the 28-year-old male who was obviously intoxicated and only wearing one shoe. While police tried to speak with the male, another neighbour came forward and reported the male had also banged on their door and was screaming at them and provided police with the man’s other shoe. The man was transported to cells to sober up and was served a violation ticket for being intoxicated in a public place.

20th Ave NE: At 3pm Salmon Arm RCMP were requested to attend a local tow company reporting a woman was causing a disturbance and a demanding access to her impounded vehicle. During that report it was learned at the woman had arrived there by driving herself in a Toyota Matrix and that the woman was prohibited from driving. While en route to the location, police observed the woman drive past in a grey Toyota Matrix. A traffic stop was conducted, and the woman’s identity was confirmed. She was served a new 7 day impound for the current vehicle she was driving, and a future court date to speak to the allegation.
November 20
Alexander St NE: At 5am a man reported seeing an unsheltered man that had fallen out of his wheelchair and was holding his penis in his hand after falling asleep on the ground. Police had dealt with the man on two separate occasions earlier in the night where he declined police and ambulance assistance and told his friend that was helping him to “get lost.” Police attended again where it appeared the man was trying to urinate and had fallen asleep on the pavement in the process. The man was awoken and was cooperative in cleaning himself up and moving along.
