RCMP seek public assistance in locating Alexander Nguyen

RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating Alexander Nguyen, who was reported missing on July 1, 2025.

Alexander Nguyen was last seen on July 1, 2025 while he was hiking and sight-seeing with his parents near Shannon Falls.

Squamish RCMP are working with Squamish Search and Rescue and are combing the area. Although we are not requesting assistance with the ground search, any hikers in the area should be aware of his photo and description.

Description of Alexander Nguyen

• Asian man
• 20 years
• 5 ft 8 in (173 cm)
• 121 lbs (55 kg)
• Long black hair in a bun
• brown eyes

He was last seen wearing:

• Grey shorts
• Flip flops
• Tank top
• Cross body bag
