Sunshine Coast RCMP is updating the public that the 51-year-old person who was reported missing on July 2, 2026, has been located deceased. Investigators have determined that criminality is not a factor in the death.

Police would like to thank the public, media, and partner agencies for their assistance and support during the investigation and search efforts, and extend their condolences to the person's family, friends, and loved ones.
