On October 14, 2025, Terrace RCMP received a report of a break and enter where two firearms were reported stolen:
- one 308 Savage rifle
- one .22 Savage rifle
- ammunition
Terrace file 2025-9384
On November 7, 2025, approximately 4:30 am, police received a report of two suspicious men on the 4700 Block of Davis Avenue loading items in and out of a shopping cart.
Police attended and located a pile of tools on the side of the road. One man was located nearby who was in possession of numerous other items including tools and equipment which were suspected to have been stolen.
A trailer at a nearby construction site was found to have been broken into and emptied. The man was arrested and transported to Terrace RCMP cells to be held for investigation.
The items which were stolen from the construction site were later identified by a property representative and returned.
Terrace file 2025-9511
Later in November, Terrace RCMP received information about stolen items that were being stored at an address on the 4900 Block of Walsh Avenue. The stolen items were said to be related to recent break and enters where tools and firearms had been stolen. On November 13, 2025, the Terrace RCMP obtained a search warrant for that address which was executed the same day. A significant number of items were seized including one .22 Savage rifle, assorted ammunition, bins of power tools as well as assorted controlled substances. One man was arrested for possession of stolen property during the search.
These investigations are ongoing. The Terrace RCMP will be submitting the results of their investigation to BC Prosecution Services for consideration of charges.
