Tofino RCMP is seeking to reunite a found ring with its rightful owner.
On May 18, 2024, an out-of-town Good Samaritan contacted the Tofino RCMP after she had found a wedding ring on Cox Beach near the access path. Unfortunately local efforts to trace its rightful owner were unsuccessful.
Tofino RCMP officers are hoping to reunite the lost ring with its rightful owner. For that reason, details about the ring are being withheld in hopes that its owner will be able to provide the specifics to prove its ownership.
Let's get together as a community to provide a positive and fruitful outcome to this lost ring and its owner, says Corporal Alex Bérubé, spokesperson for the RCMP in British Columbia.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Tofino RCMP at 250-725-3242 and quote file 2024-653.
