Oasis man remains in custody after assault

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 7:46 p.m. a frontline Trail and Greater District RCMP investigated a possible assault. An Oasis man for assaulted a woman inside a residence on Hanna Drive, in Oasis, BC.
The man and woman were known to each other. The man was allegedly in breach of a court ordered condition not to have contact with the woman who lived at the residence. The officer arrested the man for breaching his condition and took him into police custody without incident. After further investigation it was determined that he also had recently been assaulted her.
The man was taken to Trail RCMP cells and he remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing before a judge.
