West Shore RCMP is excited to host the West Shore RCMP Cops for Cancer Charity Golf Tournament taking place on August 21, 2026, at Olympic View Golf Club in Colwood.

The tournament will bring together community members and supporters for a full day of golf, fundraising, and community spirit in support of Cops for Cancer – Tour de Rock and childhood cancer care.

Over the last few years, West Shore RCMP has raised over $200,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society through a variety of fundraising initiatives in support of Cops for Cancer. The funds help support pediatric cancer research and Camp Goodtimes. Camp Goodtimes is a medically supervised camp that provides children affected by cancer, along with their families, a safe and supportive environment where they can simply be kids.

“This tournament is a great opportunity for our community to come together and support a very meaningful cause,” said Cpl. Nancy Saggar, who is part of the organizing committee. “The generosity shown in the West Shore year after year toward Tour de Rock and the families impacted by childhood cancer continues to make a real difference.”

The day begins with registration opening at 7:00 a.m., followed by an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. Participants will receive breakfast sandwiches during registration before hitting the course for a memorable day featuring on-course activities, prizes, raffles, auction items, and a BBQ lunch beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Registration is $250 per player or $1,000 per team of four. Registration includes a round of golf, breakfast, lunch, golf carts, and more.

All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to Cops for Cancer – Tour de Rock.
