Family Services Program

The Family Services Program supports RCMP families and is a crucial component to the well-being of current and former employees. Employees should feel secure in the knowledge that their families have supports during their career and after retirement.

A key service of the program is ongoing support to families and/or survivors following the death of an active employee (all categories). When an active employee dies, the program acts as the national point of contact between the:

  • policy centres
  • Divisional Family Liaison Officer
  • Divisional Senior Management
  • Warrant Group

In addition, the program offers personal support and guidance with settlement of government-sponsored benefits that are offered to the families and remain available to a surviving family member to direct them to locate or access supports.

Any employee, former employee or dependent with a question, concern or suggestion can contact the Family Services Program directly at family_famille@rcmp-grc.gc.ca
