Dauphin RCMP make two arrests after firearm call

On April 13, 2025, at approximately 2:45pm, Dauphin RCMP responded to a report of a someone being threatened with a firearm on Ida Street.
Officers responded immediately and upon arrival, were informed a 17-year-old male had fled after pointing a firearm at a 23-year-old female.
Police began searching for the suspect and shortly after, located and arrested the male. The investigation also led to the arrest of a 16-year-old female.
After searching both suspects, the following was located:
- 130.3 grams of meth – estimated community value over $26,000
- 8.2 grams of cocaine and 5.5 grams of crack cocaine – estimated community value $900
- 17 pills of Zopiclone – estimated community value $350
- Canadian currency
Officers along with Manitoba RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS) Marook were unable to locate the firearm.
The 17-year-old male, from Ebb and Flow First Nation, faces Weapons and Drug Trafficking charges, and was remanded into custody.
The 16-year-old female, from Dauphin, faces a Drug Trafficking charge and was released with a future court appearance.
Dauphin RCMP continue to investigate.
