Update: The Pas RCMP investigates aggravated assault
On July 22, 2025, at 10:24 pm, The Pas RCMP responded to an assault with a weapon behind a business on Fischer Avenue in The Pas.
After reviewing additional video surveillance received, the RCMP is no longer searching for suspects, as video surveillance shows the male was alone when the injuries occurred and were self-inflicted.
The Pas RCMP would like to thank those who provided information and additional video footage.
The investigation continues.

On July 22, 2025, at 10:24 pm, The Pas RCMP responded to an assault with a weapon behind a business on Fischer Avenue in The Pas.
Officers responded immediately and located a 56-year-old male with severe injuries. He was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The initial investigation determined the male was walking home when he was attacked by three unknown males.
The Pas RCMP is asking businesses around the 200 block of Fischer Avenue to check their video surveillance for any footage related to this event.
