Peguis RCMP respond to break and enters and arrest 2 suspects

On September 28, 2025, at 10:30 pm, Peguis RCMP responded to three separate break and enters to residences where two males were seen kicking down doors in the neighbourhood, beating up the homeowners and damaging property on 3rd Avenue West in Hodgson.
Peguis RCMP attended immediately and provided first aid to the victims. It was determined that the two males had entered two residences and assaulted the people inside. They could not enter the third residence.
The suspects also caused serious damage to property inside and out, including furniture, windows on the house as well as parked vehicles.
In total, 5 people were assaulted and injured.
Two victims, a 43-year-old male and a 30-year-old female from Hodgson, were transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. All others suffered minor injuries.
The two suspects were later identified and located at a business on 1st Avenue West. They were arrested without incident and taken into custody.
Tyrell Sinclair, 25, and Eric Sinclair, 27, from Peguis, were remanded in custody.
Tyrell and Eric Sinclair were charged with:
- Assault x 3
- Assault causing bodily harm x 2
- Break and enter in committing an offence x 3
- Mischief x 5
Tyrell Sinclair was also charged with fail to comply with conditions of a release order x 2.
Peguis RCMP continue to investigate.
