St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP arrest female for impaired driving in Île des Chênes

On April 15, 2026, at 12:26 pm, St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP received information that a vehicle was parked at a business on Main Street in Île des Chênes. The driver was slumped over the steering wheel and appeared intoxicated.
Police attended and located the vehicle. The driver was sleeping, laying on top of the center console and had drug paraphernalia near her.
The driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and possession of methamphetamine.
The 35-year-old female from the RM of Taché was released on a pending court date for July 10, 2026, in Winnipeg.
St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP continues to investigate.
