Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP investigating after fatal motorcycle collision

On May 11, at approximately midnight, Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP responded to a report of a motorcycle that had gone into the ditch.
The incident occurred on Highway 276 and Road 141 West, just north of Ste. Rose du Lac. It is believed the driver was travelling south on his motorcycle, then went off the road on the wrong side shortly after a curve in the highway.
The motorcycle was located in the east ditch, its male driver laying next to it. Efforts at the scene to revive the male – a 53-year-old from Ste. Rose – were unsuccessful and he died at the scene.
RCMP are continuing to investigate.
