Three individuals arrested following a break, enter and theft

A 28-year-old man from Sussex Corner, N.B., a 25-year-old man from Sussex, N.B., and an 18-year-old woman from Sussex, N.B., have been arrested following a break, enter and theft in Sussex, N.B.

On January 14, 2025, at approximately 1:50 a.m., the Sussex RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress at a NB Power property in Sussex, N.B. When police arrived, they saw a man fleeing the property on foot. At the same time, they also located a van behind the building on the property with two individuals inside. Police arrested the two individuals, a 25-year-old man, and an 18-year-old woman without incident. Stolen items were recovered from the vehicle. A firearm was also located and seized at the time of the arrests.

The RCMP's Police Dog Services arrived on scene a short time later and arrested a 28-year-old man.

All three individuals were released on conditions. They are scheduled to appear in Saint John Provincial Court at a later date. 

The investigation is ongoing.
