Update, April 28, 2025: Police have now obtained a composite sketch of one of the individuals involved in the home invasion and assault that occurred in Oxbow, N.B. Police are hoping that the sketch may help identify the woman involved. If you recognize her, please contact the Perth-Andover RCMP at 506-273-5000. The Perth-Andover RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify three suspects involved in a home invasion and assault in Oxbow, N.B.
On April 19, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the Perth-Andover RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion and assault at a residence on Highway 385, in Oxbow.
Three masked individuals forcibly gained entry to the residence and assaulted the homeowner, who was the lone occupant of the house, with a baseball bat.
When police arrived, they located the homeowner who was suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to hospital, and his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
The first two suspects are described as men and were armed with a baseball bat. The third suspect is believed to be a woman, who was carrying pepper spray. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
Anyone who lives in the area and witnessed suspicious activity at the time of the incident, who has surveillance footage from the time of the incident, or who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Perth-Andover RCMP at 506-273-5000. The investigation is ongoing.
