Bay St. George RCMP is investigating a vehicle fire that occurred overnight in Burgeo and are asking the public to come forward with any information about this incident.
During the early morning hours of Friday, July 4, 2025, a fire was set in the back of a silver 2020 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck parked on Hares Road in Burgeo. During the investigation, a bottle filled with an accelerant was found in the vehicle, which experienced interior damage as a result of the fire. An image of the truck is attached.
