Missing woman safely located by RCMP Police Service Dog Noah

A 69-year-old woman was safely located by RCMP Police Service Dog (PSD) Noah during the early morning hours of on July 23, 2025.
On Wednesday at around 2:45 a.m., Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP received a report of a woman who left her home unexpectedly on foot and could not be located. The woman was last seen walking into a wooded area near the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail. Police and RCMP Police Dog Services arrived at the scene, and PSD Noah and his handler, Corporal Power, were deployed to assist in the search.
PSD Noah located the woman approximately two hours into the search. The woman was transported to Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre for a full medical assessment.
Thanks to PSD Noah and Corporal Power their quick action in successfully locating the woman, and to emergency medical services for their support at the scene.
