A 60-year-old male driver was stopped by Twillingate RCMP in Bayview on July 12, 2025, for driving with a suspended licence.

On Saturday, Twillingate RCMP recognized a known suspended driver on the roads, and conducted a traffic stop.  The driver, a 60-year-old man from Summerford, was ticketed for driving with a suspended licence and the vehicle was seized and impounded.

If you know of a driver who is operating a vehicle without a licence, registration or insurance, you can report the information to your local police detachment.  In addition to a fine and vehicle seizure, in the event of a collision or crash, those who drive without insurance can face civil legal issues, including being liable for all damages or injuries caused.
