Update: Wayne John Kaniuekutat Mistenapeo was arrested on August 8, 2025. 

An arrest warrant has been issued for 29-year-old Wayne John Kaniuekutat Mistenapeo, who is actively evading police.

Mistenapeo is wanted by Natuashish RCMP in relation to several charges, including:

• Theft under $5,000

• Breach of probation

• Failure to comply with a release order
