Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP investigates residential structure fire, seeks public’s assistance

Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP and the Fire Commissioner’s Office of Newfoundland and Labrador are investigating a residential structure fire that occurred in Grand Falls-Windsor on August 27, 2025.

Just before 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP and Grand Falls-Windsor Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at a home on Lincoln Road. Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP secured the scene overnight and a fire investigator with the provincial Fire Commissioner’s Office is expected to attend and examine the scene on Thursday.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is continuing.
