Ferryland RCMP continue search for Ida Keough, seeking video footage from Calvert residents

Ferryland RCMP continues to search for a missing Ferryland woman, 76-year-old Ida Keough. She last seen leaving her Ferryland home on Sunday September 7, 2025, believed to be driving a white 2021 Honda CRV.
Thanks to information from the public, police located Ida Keough’s vehicle earlier this week in the Calvert area.
Ferryland RCMP is asking all residents and business owners along Northside Road in Calvert with video surveillance or dash camera footage available from Sunday September 7, 2025 and Monday September 8, 2025 to contact the detachment as soon as possible at 709-432-2440.
A search of the surrounding area by both land and water is ongoing, supported by RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS), Central Avalon Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR) and the Canadian Coast Guard.
Keough’s family, friends and police are concerned for her health and wellbeing.
Anyone with any information about her current whereabouts, or her movements and activities is asked to contact Ferryland RCMP.
