Ferryland RCMP conducts traffic stop, tickets suspended driver

A 50-year-old man was ticketed for driving with a suspended license by Ferryland RCMP on Tuesday.

On October 7, 2025, police observed a damaged vehicle travelling on Route 10 in Witless Bay. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was found to be driving with a suspended license.

The man was ticketed for Operating a Motor Vehicle while Suspended. His vehicle was seized and impounded.

RCMP Newfoundland and Labrador continues to fill its mandate to protect public safety, enforce the law and ensure the delivery of priority policing services in Newfoundland and Labrador.

We remind the public that operating a motor vehicle while under any restrictions or suspensions, or without the proper documentation is illegal and can result in further penalties.
