Items seized in Project Bourbon
Project Bourbon is believed to be the largest seizure of cocaine and contraband tobacco in the province’s history.

Tomorrow (Thursday, October 9, 2025), RCMP Federal Policing – Eastern Region will announce charges laid in relation to Project Bourbon.

Project Bourbon is believed to be the largest seizure of cocaine and contraband tobacco in the province’s history.

Inspector David Emberley of RCMP Federal Policing – Eastern Region will be available to answer media questions on Thursday, October 9 at 11:00 a.m. at RCMP Headquarters on East White Hills Road in St. John’s.

News media representatives attending are asked to RSVP to rcmp.nl.media-medias.tnl.grc@rcmp-grc.gc.ca by 4:00 p.m. today, October 8.

All attendees will be asked to register on arrival and will be met in the lobby by a member of the Strategic Communications and Media Relations Unit.
