Lewisporte RCMP investigating mischief to vehicle and theft of utility trailer, seeking public’s assistance

Lewisporte RCMP is investigating mischief to a motor vehicle and the theft of a utility trailer during the overnight hours between November 9 and 10, 2025 from the parking lot of the Lewisporte Rod and Gun Club.

Shortly after 2:00 p.m. on November 10, 2025, Lewisporte RCMP received a report of a mischief to a vehicle and the theft of a utility trailer. A black Jeep Wrangler with an attached utility trailer was parked overnight in the club’s lot on Road to the Isles, and the owner returned to find that one of the vehicle’s windows had been smashed.

The attached trailer was also missing. It is described as a Make Easy Haul 10-foot utility trailer, NL plate TJE256, with a wooden deck and ramp. The trailer’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is 2SPUSB14AN041604. Images of the stolen trailer are attached.

The investigation is continuing.
