UPDATE (December 10, 2025): Channel-Port aux Basques RCMP advises that the stolen Ford F150 pickup truck that police had been searching for was recovered the RNC yesterday (December 9) in Corner Brook. The vehicle has been seized as part of the ongoing criminal investigation and will be examined for possible forensic evidence.
The images of the stolen vehicle and its specialized vanity plate have been removed from this news release. The vehicle’s licence plate number has also been removed out of respect for privacy of the vehicle owner.

RCMP in Channel-Port aux Basques is investigating a complaint of a stolen vehicle and appealing to the public for any relevant information.
On Saturday afternoon, officers responded to a report of a pickup truck stolen outside of a residence in the Codroy Valley area. It was last seen by the owner on Friday, December 5, 2025. Police believe that the suspect is a white woman in her early 30s.
In addition, the owner reported that a cell phone and credit card were inside the vehicle. The credit card has since been used at several locations around the town of Corner Brook.
The stolen vehicle is a red 2012 Ford F-150 pickup truck (The vehicle’s licence plate number has also been removed out of respect for privacy of the vehicle owner). The truck also has a vanity plate in the shape of a polar bear attached to the front bumper.
