Bay St. George RCMP is investigating a break, enter and theft at the Colemans Food Centre in Stephenville Crossing during the early morning hours of December 30, 2025.
At approximately 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Bay St. George RCMP and RCMP Police Dog Services responded to a commercial alarm at the Colemans Food Centre on Main Street in Stephenville Crossing. Police determined that the suspect gained entry inside and stole product before fleeing the scene.
Video surveillance from the incident shows a masked suspect who appears to be a heavyset male. The suspect was wearing a mask over his face, a large white coat and a pair of baggy white pants. He was dragging a large black wheeled duffle bag.

Bay St. George RCMP is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with information about this suspect to contact police. Residents or businesses with surveillance video or images from the area near the store around the time of the break and enter are also asked to call Bay St. George RCMP at 709-643-2118.
