Lewisporte RCMP arrested a 46-year-old man Friday evening after responding to a disturbance at a residence in Michael’s Harbour. Police have charged Fredrick Jason Snow with assault and uttering threats.
On January 23, 2026, shortly before 6:15 p.m., police received a report of a disturbance inside a home in Michael’s Harbour. When officers arrived on the scene, they located the suspect in the driveway and took him into custody.
Inside the home, emergency medical services personnel treated one victim for minor injuries.
Police arrested 46-year-old Frederick Jason Snow and charged him with assault and uttering threats against a person. He was transported to the detachment and appeared in court over the weekend.
Snow was remanded into custody and is expected to make his next appearance in provincial court on February 10, 2026.
