Channel-Port aux Basques RCMP investigating stolen generator, requesting public's assistance

Channel-Port aux Basques RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance locating a generator that was stolen from a home in Port aux Basques last month. 

On January 11, 2026, police responded a report of a generator taken from the back porch of a home on Clements Crescent on or around January 8.

The stolen generator is an orange and black GENERAC GP3250, and is approximately three years old.

Anyone with any information about this crime, the identity of the person(s) responsible or the current location of the generator is asked to contact Channel-Port aux Basques RCMP at 709-695-2149.
