Police obtained video surveillance of three suspects using the victim’s card and learned that they had left the scene in a taxicab.

The suspects were later located at a residence on Gallant Street and taken into custody without incident.

  • Other theft under $5,000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Theft, forgery or misuse of credit card
  • Failure to comply with release order condition – three counts

Billard and Cornect both appeared in provincial court yesterday (March 2).

The third suspect, a 34-year-old woman, was arrested and released with conditions. She will appear in court in April 2026 on charges of:

  • Fraud less than or equal to $5000
  • Other theft under $5000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Theft, forgery or misuse of credit card
