Early this morning, RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation (JFO) West searched a residence in Corner Brook and seized quantities of suspected cocaine and MDMA, as well as contraband cigarettes, cash and other items consistent with drug trafficking. A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and unauthorized possession of unstamped tobacco products. 

As part of an ongoing investigation, RCMP-RNC JFO West attended a home in Corner Brook on Friday, May 1 with a warrant to search the property, authorized under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Inside the home, officers located and seized:

  • Quantities of suspected cocaine and MDMA
  • Cartons of unstamped cigarettes
  • Cash
  • Paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking activity 

Jordan Andrews, 29, was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (two counts) and one count of unauthorized possession of unstamped tobacco. He was released from custody, and will appear in court at a later date. 

The investigation is continuing.
