Lewisporte RCMP seeking public's assistance identifying suspect in Norris Arm break and enter

Lewisporte RCMP is investigating a break, enter and theft at a waste management facility in Norris Arm, and asking the public with assistance identifying a person caught on surveillance camera. 

On June 5, 2026, police received a report that the Norris Arm Waste Management building had been broken into, and a vehicle light bar and several other items were taken. The approximate value of the stolen items is $1,200. 

A review of the surveillance footage confirmed that the incident occurred on May 31, around 7:30 p.m. Police are looking to identify an unknown man captured by the security cameras. He is a white male, wearing a dark-coloured sweater and pants, a brown jacket and a black hat.
