Eskasoni RCMP Detachment has charged an Eskasoni man with drug trafficking after executing a search warrant.
On June 18, Eskasoni RCMP Detachment executed a search warrant at a residence on Beach Rd. in Eskasoni as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. Officers safely arrested a 55-year-old man. During the search, officers seized a quantity of drugs, including, oxycodone, codeine, hydromorphone, dilaudid and cash.
Glenn Joseph Peck has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (six counts).
Peck was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Eskasoni Provincial Court on Sept. 2.
The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the Eskasoni RCMP Detachment.
