Cambridge Bay RCMP charge 23-year-old man with multiple offenses.

On January 29, 2025, the Cambridge Bay RCMP received a complaint that an unknown male was threatening people with a knife in a residence on Ublogiahokyok Road. Police arrived on scene and were able to locate and arrest the male suspect.
As police were removing the male suspect from the residence, police located what they believed was illicit drugs and other drug paraphernalia. The male suspect was taken into police custody, and the residence was secured.
The Cambridge Bay RCMP were able to obtain a search warrant, which they executed at the residence on Ublogiahokyok Road. Police were able to locate approximately 343 grams of Crack Cocaine.
The Cambridge Bay RCMP have charged, Aidan Rowan-O’Rawe (age 23) with:
- Assault with a weapon, Section 267(a) C.C
- Carry a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, Section 88(1) C.C
- Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking, Section 5(2) CDSA.
Aidan Rowan-O’Rawe first court appearance is scheduled for March 24, 2025, in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut.
