Quotes
“The Taloyoak RCMP would like to thank the local Fire Department and Hamlet workers on the water truck for their quick response and hard work in getting the fire under control and preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings. We would also like to thank members of the community who able to provide critical information to the RCMP. Arson is very damaging to small communities where resources are scarce. We would also encourage the public to always report any suspicious activity to the RCMP and parents to speak with their children in regards to fire safety and the dangers of playing with matches and lighters.”
Cpl. Mark Pillsworth of the Taloyoak RCMP.
