The Manitoba RCMP have arrested Nastania Mullin on a Canada Wide Warrant, in connection with ongoing investigations into historical sexual assault allegations.
On April 8, 2026, with the assistance of the Manitoba Integrated Violent Offender Apprehension Unit (MIVOAU), police located and arrested 39-year-old Nastania Mullin at a residence in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The arrest was made pursuant to a Canada‑wide warrant issued in Nunavut.
Mullin is currently in custody in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Nunavut RCMP are facilitating his return to Nunavut where his first court appearance will be determined upon his return to the Territory.
Background:
In October 2025, the Nunavut RCMP’s Specialized Investigation Team (SIT) began an investigation, after multiple adult complainants came forward reporting historical incidents alleged to have occurred in Iqaluit, Nunavut, between 2003 and 2023.
Mullin is charged with offences under the Criminal Code of Canada, including multiple counts of sexual assault.
The RCMP reminds the public that all accused persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Given the ongoing nature of the investigation and the judicial process, the Nunavut RCMP will not be providing additional comment at this time.
The Nunavut RCMP take all allegations of sexual assault seriously, whether historical in nature or current. Reports are investigated thoroughly and impartially with a focus on victim support and maintaining the integrity of the judicial process.
