Prince District RCMP and Summerside Police Investigate Dangerous Driving Incident and Impaired Driving

On February 22, 2025, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Prince District RCMP received a complaint regarding a grey Honda Civic traveling at high speeds and dangerously passing other vehicles. The vehicle was later located by both the RCMP and Summerside Police Services; however, in both instances, the driver fled posing a risk to public safety.

 

At approximately 10:10 p.m., Prince District RCMP responded to a single-vehicle rollover in North St. Eleanor’s involving a Honda Civic. A 27-year-old Prince County man was arrested at the scene for impaired driving and flight from police. He did not suffer any serious injuries as a result of this crash.

 

The investigation remains ongoing.
