Queens District RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual who was seen paddle boarding off Victoria Park, moving in the direction of the West River, earlier in the morning of Sunday, March 23, 2025.
The individual, a man, was wearing what appeared to be a full-body wetsuit and a life vest. The man was seen in the water on the paddle board Sunday morning between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., and then around 10:00 a.m. a paddle board was seen floating the water, but it appeared no one was on it.
A search of the area is on going with boats from Charlottetown Fire Department, Crossroads Fire Department, a helicopter from the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, as well as PEI RCMP. Anyone with information on this man or an update on this man’s status is asked to contact Queens District RCMP at 902-566-7112.
