On March 8, 2025, 11:00 a.m. Prince District RCMP responded to a single vehicle crash in Wellington involving a car that left the road and was discovered in a stream. An 83-year-old man was found deceased at the scene.
On March 8, 2028, 11:00 a.m. RCMP, EMS, and Wellington Fire Department responded to a fatal single vehicle crash on route 177, the Mount Carmel Road in Wellington PEI. The vehicle appears to have left the road and ended up in a small waterway. An 83-year-old Summerside man was declared deceased at the scene and the road was closed for several hours.
This investigation was assisted by Provincial Conservation Officers and the Department of Transportation.
