On April 14, 2026, members of the Prince District Joint Forces Operation (JFO), with the assistance of Summerside Police Services, Provincial Joint Enforcement Team (JET), RCMP General Investigations Section and the RCMP Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a residence in Summerside as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

As a result of the investigation, Keenen Crozier (27) was arrested inside the residence and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (PPT) and will appear in court on June 24, 2026.

During the search, police seized:

  • Just over three ounces of cocaine (84.9 grams)
  • Approximately two ounces of crystal methamphetamine (56.6 grams)
  • One conducted energy weapon (taser)
  • Bear spray
  • A quantity of Canadian currency

Cocaine and Methamphetamine are often sold by the half gram to the gram. The quantity of drugs seized is considered significant. These amounts are consistent with mid-level trafficking activity and would have had a negative impact on Prince County.

“The presence of illegal drugs and weapons in our communities poses a very real danger to all Prince County Residents,” said Summerside Police Chief Jason Blacquiere. “Investigations like this demonstrate the importance of the continued work of the Joint Forces Operation. Each search warrant executed and each arrest made helps disrupt criminal activity and enhances public safety for the people who live and work in Prince County.”

The Prince District JFO Drug Unit is comprised of members of the Prince District RCMP, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services. It focuses on drug activity in Prince County. If you have information about drugs in your community, please contact your local police detachment. In Prince County the Prince District Joint Forces Operations can be reached at 902-436-9300.
