Canora RCMP investigating collision involving pedestrian

On July 14, 2024 at approximately 6:20 p.m., Canora RCMP received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian on 2 Avenue East in Canora, SK.
Officers responded, along with local EMS, and located an injured adult male. The male was transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious, but non-life threatening, in nature.
As a result of investigation, officers determined an altercation occurred between two males, one on a bike and one in an SUV. During the altercation, the male on the bike was struck by the white SUV and injured. The male driving the SUV left the scene.
Investigators determined the SUV to be a white 2015-2019 Nissan Rouge with a sunroof and roof rack. Photos of the white SUV and the driver are attached.
As a result of continued investigation, investigators would like to speak to the driver of a white GMC or Chevrolet truck that was parked on 2 Avenue East on July 14, who may have witnessed the incident. A photo of the white truck is attached. If this is you or you have information about the driver of this vehicle, please call police by dialling 310-RCMP.
Canora RCMP continue to investigate.
