Update: Kindersley RCMP investigating fatal collision

On March 17, 2025 at approximately 8:55 p.m., Kindersley RCMP received a report of a three-vehicle collision on Highway #7, approximately 11 kilometres west of Kindersley, SK.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. Investigation determined a car collided with a truck that was broken down on Highway #7. Subsequently, a second car collided with the first car.
The driver of the truck, who was outside of his vehicle at the time of the collision, was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as an 81-year-old male from Alberta. His family has been notified.
The male driver of the first car and the female driver of the second car were both transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening in nature.
Highway #7 was temporarily closed but has since been re-opened.
Kindersley RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
