Pinehouse RCMP investigate escape lawful custody from Besnard Correctional Centre

On April 14, 2025, Pinehouse RCMP received a report that an inmate had escaped the Besnard Lake Correctional Centre. He was last seen by staff at approximately 8 p.m. the same day.
Police are actively working to locate him and ask members of the public to report all sightings or information regarding his whereabouts.
26-year-old Kobe Kiseyinewakup is described as being approximately 5’6” tall, 135 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.
