Battlefords RCMP investigating fatal collision

On October 9, 2025, at approximately 7:10 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a single vehicle rollover on Highway #4 south near the Mosquito Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation.
Officers immediately responded along with EMS, Wilkie Fire Services and STARS. One of the occupants of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS. She has been identified as a 30-year-old from near the Mosquito Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation. Her family has been notified.
Of the four remaining occupants, three were transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life-threatening. One occupant was transported to hospital by STARS with injuries described as serious.
The highway was closed during initial investigation but has since reopened.
Saskatchewan RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
