Lloydminster CRT charge male in drug trafficking investigation

Saskatchewan RCMP’s Lloydminster Crime Reduction Team (CRT) – with support from specialized RCMP units in Saskatchewan and Alberta – charged an adult male in relation to a drug trafficking investigation in Lloydminster.

On November 26, 2025, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Lloydminster Crime Reduction Team (CRT) executed search warrants at a residential property and vehicle on 56 Avenue in Lloydminster as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. At the residence, officers located and seized approximately 320 grams of cocaine, approximately 500 grams of methamphetamine, a handgun, ammunition, a conducted energy weapon, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and a sum of cash. An adult male was arrested at the property.

That same day, Lloydminster CRT executed a search warrant at a residence on 41 Street in Lloydminster. A male was arrested at the scene and later released without charge.

As a result of continued investigation, 31-year-old Brandon Ryall from Elk Point, AB is charged with:

  • one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
  • one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
  • three counts, careless use of a firearm, Section 86(1), Criminal Code;
  • three counts, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88(1), Criminal Code;
  • one count, unauthorized possession of a firearm, Section 91(1), Criminal Code;
  • one count, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, Section 92(1), Criminal Code;
  • one count, possession of a restricted firearm/prohibited weapon with ammunition without a licence/registration, Section 95(1), Criminal Code;
  • three counts, weapons possession contrary to order, Section 117.01(1), Criminal Code;
  • three counts, fail to comply with release order condition, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code;
  • one count, operation while prohibited, Section 320.18, Criminal Code;
  • one count, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, Section 354, Criminal Code.

Brandon Ryall appeared in Vegreville Provincial Court on December 1, 2025.

Officers with Saskatchewan RCMP’s Saskatchewan Trafficking and Response Team (STRT), North Battleford CRT, and Police Dog Services, along with the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT), Lloydminster RCMP, and National Weapons Enforcement Support Team (NWEST) assisted in this investigation.
