Maidstone RCMP asks public to immediately report sightings of suspect vehicle in robbery involving firearm

On December 6, 2025, at approximately 4:55 p.m., Maidstone RCMP received a report of an attempted robbery from the yard of a private residence east of Alcurve. 

Investigation determined three unknown suspects entered the yard in a vehicle. When the homeowner made their presence known to the suspects, a firearm was discharged in the direction of the homeowner.

The suspects then attempted to leave the property and rammed a vehicle belonging to the homeowner. As a result, the truck the suspects were driving sustained significant damage to the front passenger side. The truck is described as a light silver/grey Ford F150 truck, possibly 2010 model, with factory rims. Their direction of travel is not known.

No physical injuries were reported to police.

If you see this vehicle or any suspicious persons, do not approach them. The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
